Jason M. Miller, J.D, B.C.S., was raised in Sarasota, Florida and is admitted to The Florida Bar, to The North Carolina State Bar, and to all U.S. military courts under the Uniform Code of Military Justice Rule 27 (b)(2).

Education: The University of South Florida, (B.S., 1995); The Illinois Institute of Technology-Chicago Kent College of Law, (J.D., 2002); The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School, (2011).

Member: Sarasota County Bar Association; Manatee County Bar Association; United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida; The Florida Bar; The North Carolina State Bar; Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Reserves.

After working his way through college and law school, Mr. Miller has returned to his hometown of Sarasota to pursue excellence in the practice of law.  Prosecuting over 45 criminal cases to jury verdict as an Assistant State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit, Mr. Miller has gained invaluable courtroom trial experience.  Mr. Miller lectured on trial advocacy for the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association, teaching some of Florida's best and brightest prosecutors.  Also a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves, Mr. Miller serves as trial counsel for the 174th Legal Services Organization, Judge Advocate General Corps. 

Mr. Miller has attained the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar for competency and experience and is a Board Certified Specialist in the field of criminal trial law.  In 2010, he became one of the youngest Board Certified Specialist in criminal trial law in the State of Florida.

Mr. Miller brings his courtroom expertise and experience to civil litigation and to the representation of commercial entities and construction firms.  Mr. Miller remains active in community soccer, motorcycling and triathlons.
